Back in December, we mentioned that Tom was looking for more help. As an immediate answer to prayer, Nat German (on team in 2010) returned to join the maintenance team, and we’ve had a few more volunteers offering their services one day each week as well. We’ve really appreciated the extra help.

Paul German has stepped down as a trustee to temporarily become the Operations Team Leader – a new role created following the external review.

Please keep Jhonnar in your prayers as he continues to work towards returning to The Oakes. See our “Noticeboard” for more info about his time back in Venezuela.

As our current gap year draws to a close, and team members depart (as planned), we are very excited for the eight or so reinforcements who are joining us for our “Summer Team”.

We’re also very thankful as next year’s “Impact Team” takes shape, and for those considering staying on for a second year as “Residential Trainees”. We’ll give you an update on that next time!

  • Praise for God’s continual provision of team members to keep The Oakes going.
  • Praise for the current team and pray as they move on to their next stage of life.
