Oaksiness camps and what not

Hi...ITS MY FIRST BLOG!  Wooooooohoooooooooooo! (those of you who know me will know that I shouted that pretty loud!!)

Well, its comin up to my 7th camp here at the oakes. I am loving every second of it! (yes, even cleaning the toilets!)

I have been a dormleader 3 times (Taylor all the way!), a housekeeper once (AMAZING), and been on Non dorm leading team 2 times, and the next camp I will be on that again! (So so much fun!)

I have learnt so much here already, and continue to learn loads. I have an incredible family here, and feel privelaged to have the oppurtunity to learn from some awesome people, and to live with the team.(Dan is even gonna train me to be...wait for it.... FUZZY FELT ASSISTANT! Woah!!!!! woooohoooo!!!) How exciting is that! haha. 

I have learnt the value of a good labelling system (from the lovely daisy!!! she is like the big 'labelling' sister i never had!) haha. I have learnt that puppet related work is alot harder than it looks! (Mezzy is an amazing teacher!!!) Luke (duke) has taught me that almost ANY question can be answered with the simple word 'sure!' (a major time saver I have discovered) Tom (claytonator) has taught me why we need to poke holes all over the lawn every so often (bet you dont know why!)

I have done more cleaning in 3 months than i thought possible...But I LOVE it!!! Work days are my favorite, when we get a chance to do something awesome like shifting sand, moving trees and using POWER TOOLS!!! haha

The games room was attacked by Jezza and I recently.... It looks totally different...and it was so much fun drilling holes in the walls!!!
