Nat n Hevs CRAZY adventures!

N&H: Hello Everybody whos reading this!

We thought it was about time that we updated you on our crazy lives!
So yesterday, we had the pleasure of listening to the one and only Mr Harold Clayton, and the incredible Andy Giles. Shout out to Harold and Andy! They spoke to us about the bible.

N: So, Heather, what was the main thing that you learnt?

H: How to keep going as a Christian after the Oakes.

N: And...How do we do that?

H: Pray, lots and lots of prayer.
Bible, lots of reading and studying.
Fellowship, eg going to church.
Evangelism, telling others about Jesus.
And above all, keeping Christ at the centre.

N: Great! Sounds exciting Hev! So, do you find this easy?

H: Sometimes I find it easier than others, but i know that its good and we have to keep going and trying!

N: So what else is going on at the Oakes?

H: Well, I've got 2 new room mates! A lovely girl from Germany, Marianne, and the beautiful Stacie from America (as well as Erica of course!) Shout out to the rainbow room!
So its very busy and full of life constantly! As well as these two joining team, Naomi is back from Tanzania!! And it is soooo cool to have her back. Esther will be coming back with her friend, Anne will be joining us in a few days which will be great! And two Bens have turned up!!!

N: Wow, it sounds very busy! I get to have the lovely Naomi in my room!
So what have you been up to at the Oakes other than studying the bible?

H: Well last week was my 19th birthday (WOW!) and it was your's too Nat! So Rich (Shout out to Rich!) let us dorm lead together for our birthdays and it was sooooooooooooooo fun!!!!!!

N: Yeh, that was a great camp! Shout out to Notron Free School!!! Did you have a good birthday then?

H: It was definately the strangest birthday, spending it with loads of cool people and being at the Oakes, but I loved it! Will probably not have the chance to do that ever again!

N: I agree. Shout out to Jezza! Mine too! Are there any more camps coming up then?

H: This weekend we've got an awesome bunch of guys and girls coming up from St Thomas, Crookes in Sheffield. Then after this weekend we start summer camps - Hope to see you on one!

N: What you going to be doing on this camp?

H: Support team. I'll be cleaning, and running rafts and cars.

N: Thats exciting. I'll be on support team too, and on the climbing wall with Pete! What are you most looking forward to over the summer?

H: Erm....Having the waterslide! And all the cool spy theme games!

N: Yeah, I hear the summer is going to be off the hook! Shout out to Erica!

H: Woah, Nat, did you hear that?

N: Hear what?

H: It's the bell, come on, it's the bell for lunch! Andy Shaw has been cooking for us all morning! Shout out to Andy Shaw.

N: Ok, well, see you all in the summer!
