Adventures in Visa Applying...starring: ME!

Let me take you on a wonderous adventure full of excitement and wonder, but....... before we embark on this life changing journey we need to correct paper work.

My life this past month and a bit since I left the Oakes has been a scavenger hunt for paper work. Yes, I know it sounds exciting. You are probably jealous. I get to read up on laws and regulations, make support letters, and make glorious trips to the UPS store. James the UPS man is now my friend.
But...

in all seriousness,  God is in control. Sometimes I don't like waiting for God's timing. It's hard, but just because it is hard doesn't mean it's bad. This past month, God has been reminding me that He can be trusted. Trust His timing. Trust His actions. Trust His Word. Trust in His promise.

It is a terrifying thing to do. When you trust you give up control and with God you never know where you will end up. In the past I have learned that even though it is terrifying it's that "Going on an adventure and I'll never be the same again" kind of terrifying. If I keep trust through the adventure I will be a better person and I'll be closer to God. More than I want to be at the Oakes or doing camps or randomly dressing like a pirate, I want to be closer to God. So I just need to trust. It's going to be hard but God won't give me anything I can't handle.
