1. SO TRUE!!! Here at the Oakes we are going through the book of Esther (one of the most amazing stories in the Bible) at the moment - if you haven´t read it already I highly recommend it!
2. Surprisingly true! Lots of really, really nice people spoil us with amazing food, since the main kitchen is out of order at the moment. We enjoy that very much : )
3. Also true: We have people from England, America, Australia, Zimbabwe, Uganda, France and Germany.
4. Yes, it IS exciting! You never know where the floor is gonna be missing next, we´ve been clearing out TONS of rubble, took bunk beds apart and put them back together, painted rooms, used 20 buckets of water to get the floor clean, put insulation down and so on and so on...
5. Not true. Although it was the first time for me to have nail varnish on (and I´m 24!) 10 different people did it in 10 different colours! It wasn´t me : )
