Into the new year at the Oakes

Hey guys it's Jonny here with my first blog of the new year, and first overall but it's great to let you know what's been happening here since we've all come back. Like Craigy was saying, we've been having a few days thinking about how we can make the Oakes even better than it already is (if that's possible) and now we are trying to put it all into practise (posh name=implementation.) It's very exciting seeing big ideas the team has had really coming to life. I don't wanna give too much away but the summer theme is coming along at a real speed!

Also at the Oakes, the builders are in all over the place and Tom & co have been doing work in numerous rooms. Stuff is being shifted around a lot. The only downside to it is that the table tennis table is out of action but we have been having loads of fun with board games instead.

As you may have noticed, it has been snowing around Britain and the Oakes is no exception. We all went down to the ropes course for a big snowball fight during which I learnt the hard way how hard and accurate Rich's throw is!
