The best thing about god is that he is always there for you even when you think your the loneliest person in the world i know this because i was once lonly and now have kind, loving friends everwhere so if your having a bad day just remember that god is always there.
I would like to thank all of the oaks staff for teaching me about god as i now have the best friends in the whole world and the person who made it is my friend to.

Ollie, I am so glad that you posted this on here... because it is so true!!! God really is amazing!
I've been there as well, when I felt extremely down and lonely, yet God put the right people in my life to get out of that... and reminded me that He is there at all times. He has the most incredible timing, and knows just when you need certain things!
Right now I'm working out where I should go to uni.. this is a process that has been going on for just about two years. At one point I was really worried about having to choose which one I wanted to go to, but now I'm learning that God has it all under control. He has the amazing plans for each of our lives, and will open up the doors that need to be opened. Knowing that God has everything under control, and that He is always with me is one of the best things to remember!
A great verse for use to remember is Romans 8:38-39. We can know that nothing can separate us from the love of God!
I love that the LORD never changes! Wouldn't it be awful if there were times when God couldn't be bothered with us or didn't have the time for us!
He will always love and care for us - like the best Dad you could imagine.
When I moved from Australia to England I was leaving behind all my friends and relatives and didn't know anyone here (except my mum, dad, sister and brother). I was so scared but it made me such a stronger christian because I learnt how much I needed to trust in God to look after me.
